News: Chris Camozzi returns to the UFC at UFC 137

UFC 137 just added another familiar name to the card as Chris Camozzi will be taking on Francis Carmont on the night's preliminary card. Camozzi was apart of the eleventh season of "The Ultimate Fighter" where he won his first fight to get into the house, but he sustained a broken jaw and was forced to leave the house.

Camozzi was given a second chance with a fight on the finale against James Hammortree where he earned a unanimous decision. He followed the victory up with a second, this time a split decision over Dongi Yang.

Unfortunately at UFC 127, he suffered his first loss in five fights when Kyle Noke was able to secure a rear naked choke and force a tap out at 1:35 of the first round. Camozzi was given his walking papers from the UFC after the loss.

He was able to rebound at Shark Fights 15 in a controversial fight against Joey Villansenor. The fight was originally ruled a split draw, but it was later revealed that one of the New Mexico judges' could not add correctly. Ultimately the fight was turned over to his favor when the scorecard was correctly added.

He will be taking on UFC newcomer Francis Carmont. Carmont makes his debut after putting together a five-fight win streak and compiling an overall record of 16-7. He is a member of Tristar Vale Tudo, which also happens to be the home of current UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. Carmont has impressively stopped 14 of his 16 opponents.

UFC 137 takes place on Saturday, October 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
