Mixed martial arts fans are invited to train with Forrest Griffin, Tito Ortiz and Frank Mir.

UFC officials recently announced that the three fighters will each host two-hour training and development sessions at October's UFC Fan Expo Houston. Scheduled in conjunction with conjunction with "UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III," the two-day UFC Fan Expo Houston Oct. 7-8 at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center. Tickets for each session cost $150 and are limited to just 100 participants.

Griffin's session takes place at 9:30 a.m. CT local time on Friday, October 7, and focuses on MMA fundamentals, including footwork techniques and introductory ground work. Ortiz hits the mats on Saturday, October 9, at 9:30 a.m. CT local time and focuses on his signature ground-and-pound techniques. Later that day, Mir talks bout striking and jiu-jitsu.

Additional fan-focused events at the UFC Fan Expo Houston include Q&A and autograph sessions, photo opportunities, a grappling tournament, a full trade show and other attractions and events.

Confirmed expo attendees, each of whom will be available for autographs, include Pat Barry, Vitor Belfort, Stephan Bonnar, Shane Carwin, Donald Cerrone, Phil Davis, Rashad Evans, Urijah Faber, Jon Fitch, Forrest Griffin, Clay Guida, Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Cole Miller, Frank Mir, Matt Mitrione, Tito Ortiz, Amir Sadollah, Brendan Schaub, Matt Serra, Jake Shields, Wanderlei Silva and Miguel Torres. A number of other fighters will also be available through exhibitor-sponsored autograph sessions.

Featuring a lightweight title fight (and trilogy bout) between current champ Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard, as well as featherweight champ Jose Aldo putting his belt on the line against Kenny Florian, UFC 136 takes place Oct. 8 at Houston's Toyota Center.
