News: Zuffa Partnering with Prison Contractor: Prison Fights Expected by 2015

In another stunning business move after recently purchasing Strikeforce, Zuffa, LLC has ventured into private prison contracting. The sports promotion has bought fifty-one percent of Corplan Corrections, Inc and intends to own one-hundred percent before 2016.

The private prison contracting organization is based out of Texas and specializes in purchasing land, lobbying legislators, overseeing legalities and constructing detainment facilities in economically depressed cities and communities. They also train paramilitary troops and police officers, demonstrate mock police and military scenarios and have their own police force. Their sibling subsidiaries include American Private Police Force.

Corplan has begun setting up institutions in Southern United States with plans for constant prison saturation across the country but have received negative community blowback along with the black eye of legislator bribery. News in 2009 that they wanted to detain illegal immigrants and terrorist prisoners from Guantanomo Bay and other similar facilities has also painted the company in a dark shade. A salesman for the company who intended to convert an empty Hardin, MT prison into a high tech facility was also discovered to be a convicted fraudster.

"And this is the perfect opportunity to expand what we believe the Zuffa umbrella should cover," says UFC president and spokesman for the deal, Dana White. "The fact is, the American economy- actually the global economy isn't doing so well and Corplan has the right business plan for it. The Fertida brothers and I agree that the private prison business will be a good market in the near future and we intended on getting our foot in the door when the time was right. And that time is now."

The details about the private deal that Zuffa has released include retaining current Corplan president James Parkey, a veteran in private and public institutional architecture construction. He will work with former WEC president Reed Harris on the mixed martial arts promotion end of the partnership spectrum. They have interest in the police force connections but Dana White says "those cards will stay in Zuffa's hand." "We don't want to scare anyone. Not yet. Police forces are just another business opportunity and we will wait and see if we can get Corplan on its feet again first."

White has confirmed intentions of pay-per-view prison fights though and has optimism for 2015, "We are looking at early 2015 for prison fights. As soon as we get all the red tape cut, it will kick off. We don't know what it will be called yet, but expect explosions. Expect illegal immigrants versus Midwestern redneck meth offenders. Gitmo rejects versus tax evading American dissidents. There will be fireworks."

In a detention facility on the West Coast, former UFC fighter, Jon Koppenhaver aka War Machine has commented on the news. In an online statement released on his FacebookPrison account he has said,

They haven't called me yet. A lot of these people in here, they know how to fight but they don't know martial arts. They're smart. And they learn moves I teach them very quickly. I think that Dana [White] should look into starting an Ultimate Fighter here.

Make me a coach. I will do a  good job.

My life has changed. I am the Peace Machine now, but I'll still mess you up. And everybody knows that I don't have AIDS.
