News: BMMAT P4P Rankings.

We´re finally going to make a BMMAT P4P list, guys!

Before we make a poll we would first appreciate your opinions about what fighters you would like to see on that list. Keep in mind that this is a poll for the very best P4P fighters on the planet right now, not yesterdays stars or a list of the fighters that are closest to your hearts. Unless that guy happens to be named A. Silva of course, lol..

Please be honest and pick intelligently. Everybody has got different opinions about this but let´s try our very best and I am confident we will cut out the names for the final version of BMMAT´s very own P4P ranking poll. So please remember that this ain´t the poll itself but rather a way to gather names for the final poll!

Nice graph, gj.

Statistics are great guides to judging p4p fighters. However they have to be able to be weighted somehow to be completely relevant. ie The level of opposition has to be taken into account. This where my no.2 position would probably go to Hendo, he has fought almost every elite fighter in the world in 3 different divisions, I would love to see a similar graph on his stats.

Naa, kidding, me to yes) use to complain like heck when some sites give out their P4P lists, now it will be we who decide toghether. May be horrible for some people either way cause they might be stuck on Frank Shamrock or whatelse other sick troll the santa drags in to this P4P list?

Hendo?

He has never won a UFC belt in his career and choked twice on the opportunity to merge PRIDE and the UFC belts.

If Hendo is second then Rampage is first because he schooled Hendo pretty bad. He´s overrated imo. A very good fighter but not anywhere near the top top fighters in the world.

destructor, is the posted pic the UFC Champions: By the Numbers? I saw it when looking around at other p4p ranking lists, very interesting indeed. Altghough then 1 thing I really don´t like when "Google" the p4p´s is the forum threads for common fans! I really do hope we can somehow cut the BS out in our own P4P ranking but it will most likely be like the other threads all over internet du to the fact that it´s so much of a personal opinion.
Feelings often oozing agressively in the air and a lot of "F Y´s, stupid noob´s, dumb looser´s, etc... when discussing the subject!

Have sen lots of similar threads become a nightmare cause people cannot agree and at the same time they actually seem self centered and stupid enough to actually believe their "vesion of the truth" is the one and only ans that´s it, the end?? lol, makes be twist and turn laughing myself half insane here!

Everybody is pumped about Anderson Silva and I get it,
but

Here are some of their vital career stats:

Percentages are based on the total number of fights.

As you can see, their career statistics are extremely close. The only statistic Silva comes on top of Fedor in is 'finish percentage'. Notice Fedor lost half the number of total rounds than Silva, fought against twice the number of champions/ex-champions and put together a much longer winning streak.

If you believe Silva is better than Fedor that is one thing. To say a comparison can't be made completely absurd though.

Also- Fedor fought his entire career as a small heavyweight. Meanwhile Silva fought his entire career as a big middleweight. This is fact speaks volumes and in my opinion is what places Fedor above Silva as the GOAT.
