Demonstrates basic strategies used in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and breaks down basic techniques used for self-defense and for points in tournaments.

William Vandry is a black belt in BJJ and has been training the art for 12 years. Currently he owne and operates Vandry BJJ in Austin, TX where he offers a variety of classes for men, women, and children. Since 1996, Vandry has competed in several Pan-American Jiu-jitsu championships and taken home gold and silver medals. Vandry's Austin based gym has been referred to as a "hotbed of refined students who often compete for the Machado Team" by Vandry's chief instructor and legendary BJJ sixth degree black belt Carlos Machado.
